Credit Bureaus

You can now obtain one free credit report each year from the three major credit reporting companies. Call (877) 322-8228 or online visit www.annualcreditreport.com. You can request all three reports at once or space them out.

 If you've been denied credit in the last 60 days the credit report is usually free, otherwise there is a nominal charge. Getting reports from all three agencies is a good idea. Errors may show up on one bureau's report and not another.
